...Heavy Snowfall Across Iowa Late This Evening Into Wednesday... .Another winter storm will impact Iowa into Wednesday. Snow will expand across all of Iowa by early Wednesday morning. The snow will increase in intensity, falling heavily at times through the overnight hours. The snow will gradually taper off through the day Wednesday, ending in the north by mid to late afternoon. Visibilities will be significantly reduced during periods of intense snowfall and road conditions will rapidly deteriorate tonight. Some very light freezing rain may mix with the snow late Wednesday morning into early afternoon in southeast Iowa. ...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST WEDNESDAY...

...HEAVY SNOW LIKELY ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN MINNESOTA AND WESTERN WISCONSIN TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY EVENING... .A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for much of central and southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin starting tonight and continuing through Wednesday evening. The Warning is in effect south and east of a line from Lake Mille Lacs to Sauk Centre to Appleton, and extends eastward across all of west central Wisconsin. Total snowfall accumulations of 6 to 10 inches can be expected within the Warning area. Snow will be heavy at times, particularly during the Wednesday morning commute. Snowfall is expected to continue much of the day on Wednesday. Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour will occur at times during the storm. Snowfall will diminish Wednesday afternoon and evening but will still impact the evening commute. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for West Central Minnesota from Morris through Alexandria, Glenwood, Long Prairie and Little Falls. Total snowfall accumulations of 3 to 6 inches can be expected within the Advisory area with the heaviest snow expected Wednesday morning. Hazardous travel conditions can be expected due to snow covered roads and reduced visibilities. Snow was falling across northeast Iowa, portions of southeast Minnesota and southwest Wisconsin.
