.A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for all of central and
southern Minnesota and west central Wisconsin into this evening.
The winter storm that has been affecting the entire area since
early this morning will slowly begins to loosen its grip on the
region later this afternoon and evening, with snow tapering to
flurries from southwest to northeast across the region. Storm
total accumulations of 6 to 10 inches can be expected in many
areas, and very low visibility will persist into this evening.
Road conditions will remain slick and hazardous in most areas,
with major impacts on the evening rush hour, and evening school
events.

snowfall will end across the area by late this afternoon or early
