...Dense Fog through the Morning Commute... .Widespread dense fog will reduce visibility to 1/4 mile or less at times through the morning commute. Fog is expected to dissipate in most areas by 10 AM. Be alert for sudden changes in visibility if traveling this morning. Also, be especially cautious near intersections and when turning onto roadways as other vehicles may be difficult to see. Slow down and remember to use low-beam headlights when encountering fog. ...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING... The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM CDT this morning.

* VISIBILITY...1/4 mile or less at times as fog develops quickly through sunrise.

* IMPACTS...Expect rapid reductions in visibility. Be especially cautious near intersections and when turning onto roadways.

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one-quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
