be served consecutively.// / north iowa band festival weekend is in full swing áá tonight the mason city orchastra and jazz band opened up for andy anderson and mike leeds duiling pianos. but káiámát news three's brian tabick is learning about some changes event goers are seeing this year.xxx natural sound this weekend is all about the music... natural sound ... and the dancing. for some it's also about enjoying a cold beer with friends. pretty cool to drink in the park though. but for the first time in two yearsááthe chamber didn't apply for a liquor license. i think it's maybe a little confusing. the change really isn't that difficult. when i'm standing in the street i'm not allowed to drink but i'm sitting in the park not nishu and there's a reason why the chamber decided to make this change. we went to the local breweries the local downtown establishments to have the opportunity to sell more alcohol within theirs if we get a liquor license it limited who could sell based on that agreement and so this year anyway plus they wish you could sell. kativa weitzal, the band festival coordinator, doubts people will be drinking in the streets, saying that's not what the festival is about anyway. natural sound she maintains it's a family friendly event for music and a little dancing. giving a little extra business to the local taverns would seem to be a popular idea. it helps grow your community it helps you can't me and helps people living here. by the wayááá a ticket for having an open container will we here at kimt news 3
