home./// a southern minnesota woman could face charges for attempted murder á after authorities say she intnetionally ran her son over with a car. take a look. it happened last night in the 35áhundred block of county road 150 in salem township. authorities say cynthia grund arranged for her 37 yearáold son á who had apprently been drinking all day á to stay somewhere else. when she got in the car to give him a ride á authorities say the son laid across the driveway and taunted her before she ran him over. he sustained significant injuries to his head and pelvis... but we have learned he's listed in good condition at st. mary's hospital in rochester. as for grund... she faces a secondádegree assault charge and could face an attempted murder charge. and there's another twist to the story... video right (((á remember back to april of last year when authorities captured blooming prairie woman lois riess... after she allegedly killed her husband and florida woman pamela hutchinson á leading authorities on a nationwide hunt. kimt news 3 has learned cynthia grund is actually riess's sister. riess is currently in authorities need your help tonight... identifiying three people who seem up to no good. it happened in the 6áhundred block of 13th avenue northwest in kasson. the police department released this surveillance video... showing one of three juveniles going car to car checking for open doors. police ask that if you recognize the young man in the video or know anything about this incident á to please contact the department. and of course á use this as a reminder to always lock your car./// new developments tonight at ten... we're learning just how long the investigation into alleged puppy launderers hobo ká9 rescue and jak's puppies has been going on. we told you yesterday the iowa attorney general's office is suing to shut down the operations. now káiámát news three's brian tabick is sitting down with the founder of bailing out benji... a nonprofit playing an integral part in exposing these organizations. xxx bailing out benji started eight years agoááthey have less than 100 volunteers in 20 different states all watching and looking in to similar situations throughout the united states. mindi callison is the founder of the operation. the organization is investigating rescues they believe have been set up by suspect breeders to shroud the nefarious operations from law enforcement scrutiny. she says california and chicago have banned the commercial sale of some pets obtained from sources other than animal control shelters or rescue groups. puppy launderers set up nonáprofit rescue groups to hide the source of dogs, fool consumers and skirt the bans on problematic puppy breeders. callison gave me a copy of nonprofit hobo ká9 rescues 20á17 tax returns showing they spent more than 400 thousand dollars transporting and purchasing dogs. hobo ká9 rescue is partnering with their own organization that is a commercial dog breeding industry is pretty not reputable so that is what the attorney general found out was basically jaks puppies and hobo ká9 were not keeping their own lines clear. callison says, they opened up this investigation in to hobo ká9 rescue and jaks puppies in late 20á17. in the newsroom brian tabick káiá mát news three. callison says, puppy laundering callison says, puppy laundering hides the identity of breeders... and consumers should not be misáled about where their pets
