hundreds of people came out to the first community stem festival, hosted by the stem council. the public event allowed people to get their hands on a variety of activities using the concepts of science á technology á engineering á and math, or stem. the goal... to increase interest in stem for preák through grade 12 students. kelly bergman is with the stem council, and tells káiámá t that this is a great event for students in that age range. its an opportunity for students to learn a little bit about everything in science technology engineering and math and the activities appeal on all different levels. we have a planetarium, we have a crane that children can operate and so its interesting to see how some students like to do something quiet and
