furnace on yet á you more than likely will be within the next few weeks... as winter inches closer... and two organizations in floyd county are making sure you stay warm this season. charles city area development corporation and the floyd county housing trust fund are teaming up to tackle the issue... by offering free furnaces. county residents can apply for the free furnace program. you do have to meet an income guideline... have homeowners insurance... be up to date with property taxes and have a furnace that is older than 10áyears. tim fox is the executive director of the area development corporation... and says the program has been in existence for 12áyears... and the need continues to rise.
