a rochester park is on it's way to becoming a hub for famly fun. beach proposal-vo-1 beach proposal-vo-2 work at cascade lake park is already underway. the rochester park board approved continued development efforts to improve the area. over two- million dollars is going toward enhancing the landscaping with more artwork and walking trails. michael nigbur works for the parks department and says this is all to create a destination for families to enjoy.xxx beach proposal-sot-1 beach proposal-sot-2 so people from downtown will go out there people from the community will go out there and people frankly from across the region will come to cascade lake park to go out and enjoy. the city also plans to add a fishing pier... but will be seeking state funding for more improvements. / imagine not having
