the search continues for a missing north iowa man... and police are saying this man... 27áyearáold alonzo higgins... might be in minnesota. higgins was last seen by his family octobeto minneapolis. he was supposed to return home on the 5th but never made it. we're learning from police alonzo is autistic and may be staying in a homeless shelter and also may have gone to some type of church seminar. authorities say because of some unusual circumstances surrounding his disappearance.. . they've put out a missing persons report for him. higgins is described as 5 foot 11 or 6á feet tall... weighing between 170 and 175 pounds. he may have been wearing light brown pants and jacket... and a dark brown herringbone newsboy cap. his family tells us he has a blue birthmark in his right eye. if you have any information á you are asked to contact mason city police./// we're working to get more information on a multiácar crash from this morning. this is video from the scene just before ten today. as you can see this is a busy intersection at 4th street southwest and pierce aveneue in mason city. it appears the roads were also wet at the time of this... you can also see authorities there on scene. we're working to find out if anyone was hurt in this crash... and will keep you updated both on air and online at kimt dot com./// on the other side of the country... hurricane michael is barreling toward the florida panhandle and two million people are in its path. it's now a category 2 storm but michael is expected to intensify before it makes landfall tomorrow. hilary lane is in panama city beach with the latest.xxx regional pkg 10 9 the florida beach trip for the gillham family is over. they've packed up to leave because of the mandatory evacuations ordered ahead of hurricane michael. "the storm is likely to strengthen to a category 3, that is major hurricane status." hurricane we're learning more about the 20 people who died in a limousine crash in upstate new york this weekend. 8 were part of the same family. this is video from a vigil... which thousands thousands attended monday night for the victims& which included four sisters and three of their husbands. according to reports... the limo was carrying the group of young people to a 30th birthday party when it drove through a stop sign on state route 30 and barreled into a parking lot outside a country store, hitting and killing two pedestrians before ending up in a ditch. at least six children lost one or both parents in the crash. /// state officials say the limo carrying the passengers failed an inspection last month. prestige limousine owned the vehicle. according to federal records, in september, three of its vehicles failed inspections, and were cited for multiple violations á including no or defective emergency exits and malfunctionin g brakes.
