xx:xx. let's first... take a look at some flooding images in forest city. this is video that a viewer put on facebook. in it... she says they're driving down highway 69 through forest city... near the fire station and the ambulance garage. you can see the water seems to be moving fast... and there's some strong wind, too./// (((meteorologi st in wx center((( today: mostly cloudy/storms late evening. highs: mid to upper 70's. winds: southeast at 10 to 15 mph. tonight: thunderstorm s likely. lows: mid 60's. winds: southeast at 6 to 12 mph. tuesday: showers & storms. highs: mid to upper 70's. thanks jon!/// and flood cleanup continues this morning after widespread rain fall in north iowa. kimt news 3's deedee stiepan joins us now live in studio for the latest on the cleanup efforts. deedee good morning. if you live in the forest city area... officials ask that you be extra cautious this morning. the good news however is that city crews were hard at work over night to clear all debris off of roads ? all main roads are able to be driven on. power has been restored to all places ? and as of this morning when we called the winnebago county sheriff's office ? no injuries have been reported and no major damage has been reported yet either. but take a look at this absolutely crazy video posted on the forest city football twitter account. this is what the turf football field looked like after all of the rain last night. as you can see it looks more like a waterbed than a football field. the video was posted just after 10 last night to show what several inches of rain in less than an hour does to a turf football thank you deedee. sandbags will be available at the forest city shed behind the shopko. they'll be on a pallet and folks can help themselves.
