it's looking to be a day to remember for crestwood's ellie friesen... two state titles already captured... two more up for grabs today with the chance to go 4 for 4 her senior season, plus it's her birthday! her first event of the day is the 3a girls 800 meters... yesterday she anchored the cadets winning distance medley with an impressive 800 leg for gold... giving her the condfidence today to run the open event... much like her other individual events she led the whole way and never looked back winning in 2:13.63.xxx yeah i thought it was going to be a little bit closer i definitely thought the dinner was going to be the closest race and this was probably going to be the second closest but yeah i feel great in like everyone keep saying more confidence boost and it totally is just get one win and then another win and hopefully this last one can be my best one. and it was turning around and winning the 15 hundred later today in 4:39.40... finishing her senior season 4 for 4 at state taking gold in all of them... she finishes her career with 16 state track medals and 4 state cross country medals placing in every event possible all four years... plus she has a state basketball title... making that 21 total career medals./// her teammate katie saner made the finals in the class 3a 100 meter dash... already with two state medals, here she makes it three running a 12.58 to take 6th./// then later she runs in the 200 meter dash and it's another state medal for the junior... racing to a 25.43 second finish she takes 6th in this event as well./// and with those
