World Citizen Award for RCTC student

ROCHESTER, Minn. – A sophomore at Rochester Community and Technical College will receive a Mark M. Welter World Citizen Award and Scholarship.

Hansen, from Racine, MN, is one of 20 students in Minnesota to be honored for “an understanding of the interconnected nature of the world, its nations and all people.”

Hansen says she plans to complete an associate’s degree at RCTC and then transfer to Hamline University to complete a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and International Journalism.
