...Snow Spreading North...Slippery Morning Commute For Some... .Snow continues to march northward early this morning, and will reach the Interstate 90 corridor toward 7 am. Visibilities will drop to 1 mile or less in the heavier snows, with a quick 1 to 3 inches by mid to late morning. Expect more on the ridge tops and less snow in the valleys. Plan on a slippery morning commute, especially in areas near and south of Interstate 90. For the afternoon, the focus for the snow shifts into western and central Wisconsin while precipitation transitions to mostly rain south of Interstate 90. Most of the expected snow accumulations will be around and north of Interstate 94, with another 1 to 2 inches possible. Locally higher amounts could occur.
