DODGE CENTER, Minn.- A project in Dodge County is gathering the attention of some concerned citizens.
Saturday, a public informational meeting was held to discuss the Dodge County wind LLC.
Put on by the Dodge County Concerned Citizens, organizers tell KIMT they want people to know the project is already proposed and now is the time to speak up.
The group wants to inform residents about a proposed wind project.
The Concerned Citizens Group said the project would bring 71 wind generators to Dodge County which would impact residents quality of life.
Carol Overland is a utility regulatory attorney and said it's important for residents to voice their concern to the state.
She adds once a need for the wind farm is determined, it's a matter of where it is installed.
“People need to take a look at this and see if they want this as their neighbors,’’ said Overland.
