ROCHESTER, Minn. – Two people were taken to St. Marys with non-life-threatening injuries after an accident involving a garbage truck.
The two-vehicle collision happened at Valleyhigh Drive and 30th Ave. NW. in Rochester.
The driver of the car, a 50-year-old male, was trapped inside his vehicle and had to be removed by the fire department. A passenger, a 34-year-old female, was also taken to the hospital.
Police said the vehicle pulled out in front of the garbage truck, which couldn't stop in time.
