Two vehicles broken into in Northwood

Sheriff's Office says things were stolen from inside.

NORTHWOOD, Iowa – Law enforcement is investigating two vehicle burglaries.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Office says it received reports Wednesday of vehicles being broken into in Northwood, one in the 900 block of 10th Street S and the other on Shell Rock Drive. The Sheriff’s Office says both vehicles had been rummaged through and items were taken.

Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office and citizens are being encouraged to lock their vehicles and remove anything of value from them.
