Two-vehicle crash involved Rochester police car

ROCHESTER, Minn. – A police car was involved in a two-vehicle accident Sunday evening.

Authorities say a Rochester police car was heading on 15th Avenue SE to a structure fire near Marion Road with lights and siren on. As the police car went through the intersection with Highway 14, it was struck by an eastbound Nissan Infiniti driven by 19-year-old Ky Vo of Winona.

The Rochester Police Department says Officers Grant Fedderson and David Drees were in the police car.

No injuries were reported at the scene. This crash, which happened around 7 pm, remains under investigation.
