DOVER TOWNSHIP, Minn. – Two Iowans are hurt in a two-vehicle collision in Olmsted County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened around 3:30 pm at the intersection of Highway 14 SE and Olmsted County Road 10. The northbound minivan driven by Lucas Stephen Stoakes, 35 of Waterloo, Iowa, and the westbound SUV driven by Zachary Mitchell Roberton, 35 of Lewiston, crashed into each other.
Stoakes and a passenger, Misty Elizabeth Slater, 33 of Waterloo, IA, suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment. The State Patrol says Roberton and two minor passengers in his SUV were not hurt. All five were wearing their seat belts.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Dover Fire Department, and St. Charles fire, police, and ambulance assisted at the scene.
