MASON CITY, Iowa- The NIACC lady Trojans are ready to hit the court for their first volleyball games of the season.
The girls went 8-23 last season and while they didn’t do as well as they liked, they said they were competitive.
With new coaching and freshmen on the team, those leading the team this year said they are going to be a team to watch out for this season.
“All of the sophomores are doing a great job of leading so far,” said Hannah Wagner, outside hitter. “Right away we are leading off with what our expectations are and not settling.”
The Trojans will take the court for their first game of the season August 21st.
