Motorcyclist killed in Wednesday morning Rochester crash

A portion of Broadway Ave. was closed this morning after a fatal accident.

ROCHESTER, Minn. - A fatal crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle closed a portion of Broadway Ave. this morning.

The crash happened at the intersection of N. Broadway Ave. and Northern Heights Dr. NE.

The motorcyclist, whose name hasn't been released, died in the crash.

Authorities responded to the crash shortly after 8 a.m. and CPR was being performed on the male motorcycle driver.

Rochester police sergeant Ryan Manguson said a Prius was coming out of Gentling Dental Care when it collided with the motorcycle.

The driver of the Prius wasn’t injured.

The Rochester Police Department and Fire Department responded to the crash.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m., the Rochester PD Crime Scene Unit arrived.
