ROCHESTER, Minn. - A 63-year-old Spring Valley woman has been identified as the person killed Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash.
Police said Wednesday that Stacey York was a passenger in a vehicle driven by her 19-year-old daughter when they pulled out from a stop sign and they were T-boned.
The 19-year-old was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The other vehicle occupants, a 31-year-old female with kids age 5 and 10 in the back seat, were all taken to St. Marys by private vehicle. They are all from Hanceville, Alabama.
Police say it happened at 4:45 pm at the intersection of 48th Street and Commercial Drive SW. The collision sent one of the vehicles rolling onto the front lawn of Deutsch Furniture Gallery.
Police say many citizens stopped to help the victims of this accident and some performed CPR. This crash remains under investigation.
