It was another soaker of a storm in some areas Thursday.
Decorah received more than 3 inches of rain, while Charles City recorded 2.81 inches.
Mason City nearly reached the 2-inch mark, finishing with 1.84 inches.
With the rain we have seen, rivers will be high. Flooding along rivers has already been reported in northwest Iowa.
There is some good news in the weather department, however.
We will clear up and stay sunny through this Friday with highs climbing in the mid 70's.
Winds will be breezy from the northwest, but we should still hit our above average highs. Staying clear tonight with some clouds moving in for tomorrow. Saturday will bring temps to near 80 degrees for the afternoon. Rain chances will return for Saturday night through Sunday morning.Mason City has received around 3 inches of rain in the last 3 days. If that were snow and assuming it was the average snow to liquid equivalent ratio, that would be 30 inches of snow. Yikes.
