FOREST CITY, Iowa – A North Iowa teen is getting probation for a police chase that ended with him crashing into a building.
Andrew Maurice Youngers, 18 of Forest City, pleaded guilty to eluding, operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, and six counts of 3rd degree burglary. He’s been sentenced to two years of probation and must pay restitution to his victims.
Youngers was charged with 18 crimes after a series of vehicle break-ins in Forest City and Fertile in April and May of 2017. He was arrested after a police chase on May 7, 2017, where Youngers crashed into the Manufacturing Bank and Trust building in Forest City.
