ROCHESTER, Minn. – Students in the school’s Art and Design Club have donated a custom piece of work celebrating diversity to Rochester Community and Technical College.
The students actually began creating the art in the fall of 2017 but it went missing in mid-December. RCTC officials say it was eventually located off campus and returned to the club.
The currently untitled 48’’ by 48’’ oil on canvas painting will be publicly displayed in RCTC’s atrium. The students who created the artwork include: Munira Alimire, Omnya Mohamed, Vivian Nguyen, Edward Otterness, Katie Scherger, Lul Sharif, and Chloe Thiemann.
