ROCHESTER, Minn. – A prison sentence is handed down for a beating at a birthday barbecue.
Levar Henry Booth, 29 of Rochester, was ordered Wednesday to spend two years behind bars, with credit for 55 days already served, for pleading guilty to 3rd degree assault. He must also pay $890.78 in restitution.
Authorities say Levar Booth and Levell Booth were arrested on July 10, 2017, after an argument turned into an assault.
Levell Booth got 29 days in jail after pleading guilty to disorderly conduct.
