GARNER, Iowa – Both defendants in a Hancock County drug case are now pleading not guilty.

Clark Michael Erdahl, 31 of Lake Mills, entered a not guilty plea Friday to possession of methamphetamine-3rd offense, possession of marijuana-3rd offense, and gathering where controlled substances are used. His trial is scheduled to begin on October 17.

Erdahl and Bradley Rotert, 24 of Mason City, are accused of using a Crystal Lake apartment as a drug den. Law enforcement says a search of the place turned up meth, pot, and drug paraphernalia.

Rotert previously pleaded guilty to the same charges. His trial is set to begin on September 19.
