MASON CITY, Iowa – A North Iowa woman has changed her plea in a drug case.
Maggie Jean Abben, 30 of Mason City, entered guilty pleas Monday to a controlled substance violation and failure to affix a drug tax stamp. Maggie and Travis Abben were arrested on January 10 after law enforcement said they found 147 grams of marijuana and 10 methamphetamine pills in their home.
Travis Abben pleaded guilty to prohibited acts and failure to affix a drug tax stamp. He was given five years of supervised probation.
Maggie Abben’s sentencing is scheduled for October 11.
