Scarcello sentenced

Mason City police say he attacked someone in July.

MASON CITY, Iowa – Attacking someone results in jail time for a Swaledale man.
41-year-old Joseph Scarcello was arrested on August 30 for a charge of willful injury. Mason City police say he kicked the victim in the face and punched the victim four times, resulting in a black eye, a bloody nose, and a fractured bone in the face.
Scarcello pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of disorderly conduct and was given 10 days in the Cerro Gordo County Jail.
