ROCHESTER, Minn. – An Olmsted County man is now facing a trial for two stolen vehicle incidents.
Bradley James Kazos, 46 of Rochester, was arrested on January 28, 2017, when law enforcement chased after a snowmobile that matched the description of one that was reported stolen. The snowmobile was eventually found abandoned and authorities say a search of the area found Kazos under some trees.
He pleaded not guilty to theft of a motor vehicle and fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.
Kazos was then charged in February with three counts of possession of stolen property. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office says he left a cargo trailer and someone else’s property without permission in November 2017 and a search found two stolen motorcycles inside. Further investigation revealed the trailer had also been stolen.
Kazos entered a not guilty plea to the stolen property charges on Tuesday and a joint trial for both incidents is scheduled to begin on November 5.
