ROCHESTER, Minn. – A high speed chase results in probation for a Rochester man.

Bennie J. Byler, 31, was arrested on September 25, 2017, after a Minnesota State Trooper said Byler ran a red light on Highway 52 in Rochester. A pursuit ended on 75th Street, where Byler exited his vehicle and was taken into custody.

He pleaded guilty to fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and was sentenced Wednesday to three years of supervised probation and must perform 50 hours of community work service.
