ROCHESTER, Minn. – A mail thief is sentenced in Olmsted County.
Daniela Florenti Dumitr Gresser, 27 of Hastings, was ordered Monday to spend three years on supervised probation and either pay a $1,000 fine or do 100 hours of community work service. Gresser pleaded guilty in August to one count of mail theft.
Rochester police say Gresser and Danielle Marie-Hanson Strike, 31 of Rochester, stole items from between seven and 10 mailboxes in June, as well as three garden gnomes.
Strike is pleading not guilty to mail theft and possession of hypodermic syringes and is scheduled to stand trial on February 25, 2019.
