Rochester Fire: Overnight blaze destroys vehicle, badly damages garage

A fire left a car destroyed and $50,000 damage in its aftermath.

ROCHESTER, Minn. – A fire left a car destroyed and $50,000 damage in its aftermath.
A vehicle was found fully engulfed at 10:52 p.m. Tuesday at 2762 Hawk Ridge Ct. SE., according to Rochester Fire.
The front of the garage of the duplex was on fire along with a minivan inside it.
The occupants were alerted by neighbors to the fire and were able to exit safely. After checking the duplex, both sets of occupants were able to return to their homes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.
