ROCHESTER, Minn.- A regional jet landed safely at the Rochester International Airport on Thursday morning after declaring an emergency and requesting to land.
SkyWest Airlines Corporate Communications released the following statement on the incident: SkyWest Flight 3757, operating as Delta Connection, from St. Louis, Missouri, to Minneapolis, diverted to Rochester, Minnesota due to a smoky odor in the cabin. The flight landed in Rochester without incident and passengers are en route to Minneapolis via bus.
RST stated in a tweet that 39 passengers and 4 crew onboard the SkyWest CRJ900 aircraft required no medical attention.
The plane landed at 7:20am on Thursday.
It was traveling from St. Louis to MSP.
