ROCHESTER, Minn. – A man accuse of pointing a rifle at a woman and her teenage son is pleading not guilty.
Jason Scott Finstad, 36 of Rochester, is charged with two counts of stalking and one count of domestic assault.
Rochester police say a verbal argument led to Finstad pointing his rifle, which resulted in the woman’s 14-year-old son getting a loaded shotgun. Officers say Finstad was found highly intoxicated and burning items in the yard around 1 am when he was arrested.
His trial is scheduled to start on April 15.
