Not guilty plea in North Iowa marijuana arrest

Clear Lake man accused of having over 40 grams of the drug.

MASON CITY, Iowa – A Clear Lake man is pleading not guilty to marijuana charges.

51-year-old Sidney Wayne Bishop was arrested on November 8 in McIntosh Woods State Park. Authorities say Bishop had over 42 grams of marijuana in his possession.

He has been charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana-1st offense, and failure to affix a drug tax stamp.

A trial is scheduled for January 23, 2018.
