MASON CITY, Iowa- At Noon Rotary Monday a retired Agricultural Economist for the Iowa State University Extension Office spoke about the evolution of Russia.

Don Hofstrand has visited Russia four times with his most recent trip happening this past June. He touched on topics such as society in Russia and how the country has come to be whether it was good or bad.

“The people of Russia are great people just like the people of United States are great people,” he said. If we can get together the people would be much better off than having our leaders bicker back-and-forth and fighting and so forth.”
