LYLE, Minn. - A house suffered significant damage after a fire early Monday in Mower County.
Fire officials responded to 202 Pine St. just before 9 a.m. Monday after a report of flames coming from a home.

Authorities said there were no injuries reported.
Theresa Groesbeck was home when the blaze broke out. She says there were no signs that lead to fire and it was her dog that alerted her.
"My dog was going crazy,” Groesbeck said. “I tried to calm her down but I was on her the phone. When I hung up I saw the door was bright red and flames coming in and I ran out and call 911 and got my dog with me."
Around noon the fire marshal arrived at the home to inspect the scene. Groesbeck says he the fire marshal didn't have an answer to give them as to how or why the fire started. Now she and her family will have to wait for the insurance company to come by with an expert to further investigate. She and her husband plan on staying in their camper tonight.
