OLMSTED COUNTY, Minn. - Olmsted County authorities have responded to a rash of vehicle crashes in recent days.
Early Tuesday, a vehicle driver by Eric Lopez-Martinez, 34, crashed on Viola Rd. and 55th Ave. SE. Lopez-Martinez was ejected and taken to St. Marys Hospital.
Authorities believe alcohol was involved.
On Monday, a motorcycle driven by 27-year-old Austin Proell, of Rochester, collided with a vehicle on Marion Rd. SE.
The vehicle crashed when it tried to swerve near a line of cars. Proell injured his leg and was taken to St. Marys.
He was charged with driving with no certification and reckless driving.
Authorities also said Tuesday that a man sustained serious injuries during a crash Friday on County Rd. 8. The front passenger, a 51-year-old male, was taken to St. Marys. His name was not released.
The driver, a 62-year-old from Wannamingo, was not injured.
