MASON CITY, Iowa – A trial is set in a North Iowa road rage incident this past summer.
Theodore Schultz, 62 of Mason City, was arrested after authorities say he got a pistol from his vehicle and began walking toward and yelling at other people on June 24 in Mason City. Authorities say Schultz was apparently upset about being passed in the 400 block of North Illinois Avenue.
Court documents state he had a blood alcohol level of .158 at the time of his arrest.
Schultz is charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, carrying a dangerous weapon under the influence, and OWI. His trial is scheduled to begin on October 23.
