MASON CITY, Iowa – Authorities say she blamed her daughter for a bag of drugs. Now, she’s pleaded guilty and been sentenced for drug possession.
Amber Movick, 37 of Mason City, was charged with possession of a controlled substance-3rd of subsequent offense. Law enforcement says she was caught on March 3 with a bag containing methamphetamine, marijuana, and various drug pipes. Officers say Movick claimed the bag belonged to her daughter.
On Tuesday, Movick was sentenced to five years of probation.
