Health officials in Minnesota announced Monday the state has its 10th Coronavirus-death while the number of cases is nearing 600.
Olmsted County has 51 confirmed cases while Mower County has 12.
Officials in Minnesota said that the number of new unemployment applications over the last two weeks was more than all of 2019.
The state has had 239,263 applications since March 16.
Also Monday, DHS said the state has five alternate makeshift hospitals. More than 2,700 of those beds will be in the Twin Cities metro area with 1,750 in other areas of the state.
