ROCHESTER, Minn. – A not guilty plea is entered in a Rochester stabbing.
Shamar Kenneth William Blunt, 20 of St. Charles, is accused of 2nd degree assault. Rochester police say he stabbed a man in the hand and chest with a small machete on May 4. The victim’s injuries were minor, according to authorities.
Police say Blunt and the victim were at a large party in the 2100 block of 48th Street when an argument turned into a stabbing.
Blunt’s trial is scheduled to begin on March 11, 2019.
