CHARLES CITY, Iowa – A man caught with methamphetamine is pleading guilty to a lesser charge.
53-year-old Bradley Earl Hanawalt of Waterloo was arrested on June 15 after a deputy sheriff said he ran from a traffic stop in Charles City. A baggie of meth was found in his vehicle and another baggie of meth was found in his pants pocket. Hanawalt was charged with possession of meth with intent to deliver.
He has agreed to plead guilty to just possession of meth-1st offense. Hanawalt’s next court date is set for January 8.
