ROCHESTER, Minn. – Stealing a car lands a Rochester man five years of supervised probation.
Sean Alan Mikesell, 28, was sentenced Monday on one count of theft of a motor vehicle. He was arrested January 27 after someone spotted a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier in the day at a convenience store. When law enforcements arrived on the scene, Mikesell reportedly ran into a wooded area and had to be caught by a police K9 unit.
In addition to the probation, Mikesell must pay $6,343.21 in restitution and either do 100 hours of community work service to pay a $1,000 fine.
