MASON CITY, Iowa- After a fire broke out at Luke's Central Machines on Friday, keeping local fire crews busy for several hours, the shop is ready to open back up for business.

Ron Lukes, the owner of the repair shop, says they had to jump through some hoops to get the power turned back on, but plan to be in the full swing of things by Tuesday.

“It looked pretty bad on Friday.” Lukes said. “I had no idea how much damage there would really be until we got back inside the building. I didn't even want to look at it on Saturday, but I did, and I was pleasantly surprised.”
