Incident in Ventura leads to felony domestic abuse charge for woman

VENTURA, Iowa – A woman with prior domestic abuse convictions is in the Cerro Gordo County Jail after she allegedly ripped hair out of the victim’s head.
Kassidee Caunt, 25, of Kalispell, Montana, has been charged with felony domestic abuse assault after a Dec. 17, 2017, incident in the 100 block of W. Lake St.
Caunt hit the victim, ripped out her hair, bit her and caused scrapes to her forearm and forehead, according to court documents.
Caunt is being held on $5,000 bond. She has prior convictions for domestic abuse in 2015 and 2017 in Montana.
