UPDATE: Dog dies in Rochester house fire

No word on the cause.

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Crews are on the scene of a house fire in Rochester.

It started a little before 5 pm Wednesday in the 3400 block of 39th Avenue NW.  No one was home except a dog, which died despite efforts to revive it.

Rochester fire and police along with Gold Cross Ambulance responded to this fire.  The cause is not yet known.
