ROCHESTER, Minn. – A September chase has produced an April guilty plea.

Bennie J. Byler, 31 of Rochester, is pleading guilty to one count of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle. He was arrested on September 25, 2017, after a Minnesota state trooper said Byler ran a red light on Highway 52 in Rochester. A high speed chase continued to 75th Street, where authorities said Byler exited his vehicle and was taken into custody.

A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for June 12.
