ROCHESTER, Minn.- The Rochester Downtown Alliance is looking for applicants for their Start-up Grant.
It’s a grant that will fund first time events that will happen in downtown Rochester.
Applicants can receive up to $3,000.
Those with the Organization say this is a way to create a more vibrant area.
The goal is to create successful annual events.
Jeremy Westrum is a Rochester resident who likes the idea a lot.
He thinks this should be statewide.
“Smaller towns outside of Rochester could be helpful for vibrancy and otherwise...yeah couldn't hurt.”
