GRAND MEADOW, Minn. – A woman accused of pointing a gun at people is pleading guilty.

Mallissia Kaye Carlson, 46 of Grand Meadow, entered a guilty plea Monday to one count of terroristic threats. She was arrested in September 2017 after police say a juvenile girl said Carlson pointed the gun at a group of girls and threatened to “blow their brains out.”

Officers say Carlson reported getting the gun to protect herself after an argument with the girls and a woman that were in her yard.

Two counts of 2nd degree assault with a dangerous weapon will be dismissed as part of Carlson’s plea deal.

Her sentencing is scheduled for February 1, 2019.
